Adamsville Families,


August is here! We are busy getting ready for another great school year. 


Our daily schedule will remain the same. Parent drop-off will be from 9:00 - 9:15 using the south parking lot (8:50 for students eating breakfast). Students will be dropped off at the SE corner of the building and will enter through the side entrance where they will be greeted by a staff member (no drop off in the bus lane or main parking lot). The tardy bell will be at 9:15am and any students arriving after that should be accompanied by their parents to be signed in. Dismissal will be at 3:25pm. 


A few important dates:

·         August 5 – class lists posted on front doors at 3:00 pm

·         August 9 – Kindergarten Parent Only Orientation at 6:00 pm

·         August 18 – Parent/Student Update site will open

·         August 22 - Adamsville Elementary Open House will be from 4:30-6:00 pm

·         August 24 – First day of school!

·         September 13 – PTO meeting at 3:30 pm


Parents, please consider joining our PTO. Meetings are held monthly – generally on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 3:30. This is a great opportunity for you to have an impact on your child’s school and we welcome your involvement!


Please encourage your child to make a final push to meet their Summer Reading Challenge goals, as we have five bikes and other great prizes to award very soon!


Lastly, free lunches have been discontinued by the USDA, so you will need to plan accordingly for your child’s lunches this year. For information about school lunches (including Free and Reduced Meal Applications), see our Food Services page at
