My name is Mrs. Laura Gatten, and this is my 6th year with Tri-Valley Schools. One of my favorite things is using words - words to learn and explore, words to communicate, and words to encourage. 

   When I'm not teaching ELA, I love to spend time outdoors and with my beautiful family. I live in Zanesville, with my husband, Larry, and my daughter, Sara. Besides Sara, I have two other kids who are grown ( Alec and Tyler), and a grandson, Owen, who calls me Mimi :)

  I love love LOVE camping, hiking, kayaking, and biking! If I have to stay indoors, I love playing board games, reading, writing, baking, and watching movies, and attending church. 

  I can't wait to learn more about YOU and what you love. Hopefully, ELA will become one of them :)
