My name is Mrs. Martin. This is my eleventh year of teaching first grade and 13th year of teaching. I have taught Third Grade and First Grade. I love teaching first graders! They are so much fun and are full of energy! I received my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Ohio University and my Master's in Child Development from the University of Indiana.
I am married to Jeremy Martin and we have a 10 year old daughter named Rylinn and a 7 year old son named Jax! Jeremy and I are both Tri-Valley graduates and I am very excited to be teaching here at Dresden Elementary! I have been in this building for ten years now. For fun, my family loves to camp, fish, hunt and just spend time together. We also LOVE nature and animals!! I look forward to an exciting year in First Grade!

'Blizzard Bags' are now called CLA's because they are to be completed for any calamity day, not just a snow day!!

What is a Continuous Learning Assessment? (CLA)
A 'CLA' is a day's worth of assignments to be completed at home, so students do not have to make up a calamity day. They Need to be completed for each calamity day that we have, beginning on the very first calamity day.
Where do you get a CLA?
You can access the "CLA's" on the left side of this web page. Your child will also receive a hard copy for each day well in advance to the wintery months.
