My name is Alaina Tharp, and I have the pleasure of teaching Family and Consumer Sciences at Tri-Valley High School. I offer a wide variety of courses including Food Science, Culinary Fundamentals, Global Foods, Child Development, Career & College Readiness, and Personal Financial Management.

In addition to teaching, I am also the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) adviser at Tri-Valley High School. I am very passionate about the content taught in FCS because the courses teach valuable life skills that lead to independence, healthy living, and overall future success!
I am married to my husband Jake, and we have two boys, Jase & Jordy.
