Welcome back staff and students! I look forward to another year of learning and achieving great things together at TVHS. I'm pleased to announce the addition of Mrs. Michelle Dilley-Walrath (Biology), Miss Katelyn Shultz (Choir), Mrs. Lori Hudson (English), Mr. Thomas Crowley (Student Services), Mrs. Danielle Buty (Inter. Spec.), Mrs. Holly Noland (Inter. Spec.), and Mrs. Wendy Dinan (Administrative Assistant). You will find new faces among our recent hires and a few familiar faces that graduated from TVHS. I love seeing our former students return to teach within the district. I believe Tri-Valley to be the best school district in our area and seeing our former students return to teach is proof of that.
We've added additional English and Business Dual Enrollment classes, an AP US History class, a CDL course, a Work Study Program and a ACT Prep Class to our extensive course offerings. Staff members have been busy preparing lesson plans for a great year of learning.
All of our fall sports and activities participants have been hard at work preparing themselves for the upcoming season. These activities are not only designed to be fun but also are the beginning of life-long friendships and develop leadership skills. We take great pride in representing our families, TVHS and our communities in a positive manner.
Tri- Valley Schools are now required to annually notify parents and legal guardians how they will be notified of emergencies. In the event of an actual emergency, parents will be notified via text alert, TEC and the TV website.
Tri-Valley Schools no longer do paper report cards. Parents will be able to access interim reports and grade cards on-line through the parent access section of progress book. Information was sent home on the 1st day of school.
I thank you in advance for your contributions to your student's success this year. I look forward to interacting with your child and watching them achieve their maximum potential.
